I downloaded the new live messenger beta, now the keyboard shortcuts for my custom emoticons wont work.
Any help?
the emoticons on my msn wont work. If i type :) for example, the smiley face wont show up just :). It also doesnt work when the person im talking to uses an emoticon. Can anyone tell me what i should do? 10 points for the first GOOD answer.
about a week or so ago my windows live messenger stopped showing emoticons, i have un-installed and reinstalled messenger twice, i have un-installed messenger plus, and reinstalled it and it still isn’t working; the weird thing is that the emoticons show up when i’m looking at my contacts but during chats, and at the top of my main messenger window where my name and display picture is shown, it just won’t show, any help?
why arent my emoticons showing it only shows the symbols

i have a complete folder with emoticons. but can someone tell me how to add the full folder at one go to msn. i cant do it one by one by going and clicking on add new emoticon n stuff
i have windows live messenger essential 2011 and it doesn’t show my emoticons or the emoticons other people send me i need your help i’ve tried option>messages>show emoticons and that i’ve even tried control panel >wlm>eliminate/repair i choose repair and it didn’t work what can i do????
like :P turns into a little face and (^^^) turns into a shark…..
i unpin it on the menu but yet it still pops up
and i dont know how to change it to where the :p face wouldn’t pop up when i type “:p”
the modify button appears on the menu for the emoticons but i can;t click it so i would very much appreciate if i can permenately unpin them or make it to where i can press other buttons to make them appear on the screen
