I also have MSN and you can use other emoticons that have been downloaded from the internet (e.g. naruto and anime emoticons).
Can you do these things with yahoo? and if so, How do I do it and how do I use it?
My emoticons are already saved as a .gif and have a transparent background, but for some reason it turns hotpink when I load them into MSN. How can I get rid of the nasty pink?
it’s on the same PC and the same user, i have created a new msn account and i need to transfer emoticons from my old e-mail account to the new one i am still one the same pc with the same version of msn i located the file where the emoticons are stored and copied them from the folder of my old msn account to the new one but still it didn’t work. any ideas???

I have some custom emoticons in my WinLive messenger. I need to add them within my display name; although each emoticon is assigned with keyword like: (xy), when I insert this (xy) keyword within my display name I see it as it is.
Can you help me on that?

E.g. if i put :) in my display name it will show a smile face but if i try it with my custom emoticons then it wont work.

i added some cool animated emoticons to my msn messenger, but they are only availble when i log into messenger from the computer i installed them on. so is there a way i can bak them up or store them, so that they are there to use, no matter which computer i sign in from.
